Chromebook FAQ

1. If the screen has been rotated 90° (sideway) or 180° (upside-down):

Press Ctrl + Shift + the refresh button






2. If it is in a foreign language:


Click the bottom right corner. (Where your picture is) A menu will pop up, select the second option (the icon with 6 squares)






















Click the option under the line. (Above the option with an arrow pointing to the left)
























1 From the blue box on the left, choose the first option (English):
























2 Then click the top grey button in the box on the right (White box). 

3 Now click the done button which is the bottom right button. (It will be in another language)

Now you just need to reset the Chromebook by pressing the Power Button (Top Right on your Keyboard) or Ctrl + Shift + q (press q twice while holding Ctrl and Shift)


3. The Screen or mouse button is huge! I can only see part of the screen. The colour is messed up!

When you are on the log in screen, click accessibility then uncheck anything that has been checked.


4. The keyboard is typing some weird stuff (Cannot type apostrophe)

Look at the bottom right corner, does it say US? If not, press shift + alt until the bottom right shows US beside your icon

OR

Look at the bottom right corner, does it say US? If not, change it by clicking on it and go to keyboard and change it back to US.
